The charity was formally set up in 1978 following a bequest from Ralph Neville JP.
If you are a registered charity or not-for-profit organisation, you may be able to apply for a one-off capital grant of up to £1,000. Please read on for details of how to apply, our eligibility criteria, and current funding priority areas.
The Lady Neville Charity is pleased to welcome applications from
Organisations applying must be working in at least one of the following three priority areas
* Communities include The City of London, 'The Square Mile'; London Boroughs of Camden, particularly Kings Cross, Enfield, Hackney, and Hounslow; West Kent, particularly Tonbridge & Malling, and Tunbridge Wells; Romney Marsh (excluding East Sussex).
We can consider one-off capital grants
The Committee considers applications twice a year in May and November. You are welcome to discuss a potential approach with the Grants Administrator.

You will need to return the application form by post to the address specified, and include your latest audited Annual Report & Accounts with your application form. The deadlines for applications to be submitted for our 2016 funding rounds are 5pm on Friday 11th March 2016 and Friday 9th September 2016.
Please note applications received after the deadline times will not be considered. In order to keep administrative costs down we regret it is not possible to acknowledge unsuccessful applications.
If you have been successfully awarded a grant from us, we would like you to submit a follow-up form once the grant has been spent. This enables us to monitor, evaluate and improve our service. We kindly request that you acknowledge our grant support on any published materials relating to your project. Letting others know that we have given you a grant helps raise awareness that funding may be available to other local organisations through the Skinners’ Company Lady Neville Charity.
Please use the following wording on your published materials – brochures, leaflets, programmes, annual accounts or website - “Supported by the Skinners’ Company Lady Neville Charity - giving small grants to local grass-roots organisations”
